We respect your privacy. Our apps are built to work with minimal data. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. It applies to all apps published by ALMA INNOVATIONS LTD. The Serenity Time section below explains its diagnostics separately from the general on-device and Apple diagnostics descriptions.
What we collect
- On-device settings. Preferences such as durations, sounds, colours, notification times, and profile options are stored locally on your device. We do not transmit this data to our servers.
- Media you pick. If you choose a custom audio track or background from Files or your photo library, the app reads that file on your device. We do not upload your media.
- Crash logs and diagnostics. Apple may provide crash reports and performance data if you opted in to share analytics with developers. We use these only to improve stability.
- Support emails. If you email us, we receive your email address and any details you include. We use this only to help you and to improve the app.
Serenity Time — Practice and diagnostics
Your timer settings, practice history, saved routines, reminder preferences, and imported media stay on your device. Serenity does not upload your routine names, photos, videos, or audio files. Your device backup settings may include this local data. No account is required. Reminders are scheduled locally after you allow notifications.
Serenity uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to understand feature use and diagnose crashes. In version 1.1 and later, Share usage diagnostics is off by default. Google Firebase initializes only if you turn this setting on in Serenity Settings. Earlier versions initialize diagnostics at startup and may associate crash reports with a device vendor identifier; the in-app diagnostics choice is introduced in version 1.1.
If you enable diagnostics in version 1.1 or later, data may include session durations and completion, feature and upgrade interactions, purchase product identifiers, values and currencies, and transaction events, app and operating-system versions, device model, crash details, and pseudonymous app installation identifiers. Analytics may derive an approximate city, region, or country from the network connection. Version 1.1 does not collect advertising identifiers or set a personal user ID. We do not use Serenity diagnostics for advertising or tracking across other companies' apps or websites.
You can turn Share usage diagnostics off at any time. This suspends future Analytics collection. Crashlytics automatic reporting is disabled from the next app launch; while it is disabled, Crashlytics may store crash information locally and may send it if you later re-enable diagnostics. Turning the setting off resets the local Analytics identity and asks Crashlytics to delete reports currently waiting to be sent. It does not erase information Google already processed. Apple's own analytics-sharing choice is separate from this in-app setting.
Our Google Analytics event-data retention setting is 2 months. User-level data retention is 14 months, with the retention period reset when there is new activity. These controls do not apply to most aggregated standard reports, which may be retained longer. Crashlytics retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal from its live and backup systems. Google may also process operational service data, aggregated and de-identified measurement contributions, and information needed for technical support under the applicable service settings. See Firebase privacy and retention information and Google Analytics retention information.
Apple processes purchases, restores, and refunds. We do not receive full payment details. Deleting Serenity removes its local app data; Apple-managed lifetime purchases remain associated with your Apple Account and can be restored. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@alma-innovations.com.
Ready — Health Data
If you grant permission, Ready reads selected Apple Health data including heart rate variability, resting heart rate, respiratory rate, and sleep metrics. This data is processed entirely on your device to generate readiness insights. We do not transmit, store on our servers, or sell your health data.
Daily metric snapshots may be stored on-device using Core Data so you can view trends over time. Shared app-group storage may be used to update companion experiences such as widgets and watch complications.
What we do not collect
- No account is required.
- No precise location access or location tracking. When Serenity diagnostics are enabled, Analytics may derive approximate geography from the network connection as described in the Serenity Time section above.
- No third-party advertising SDKs.
- No sale of personal data.
Payments
Payments, subscriptions, and trials are handled by Apple through in-app purchases and StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment details.
How we use data
- Provide core app features and personalised insights.
- Fix bugs, understand feature use, and improve performance using diagnostic data.
- Respond to your messages and support requests.
Data retention
Settings and health snapshots stay on your device until you delete the app. Support emails are kept as long as needed to assist you and meet legal or accounting needs, then deleted.
Your choices
- Remove local data by deleting the app.
- Revoke Health data access in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.
- In Serenity Time 1.1 and later, turn off Share usage diagnostics in Serenity Settings.
- Control Apple's separate diagnostics sharing in iOS Settings.
- Email us to request deletion of support correspondence related to you.
Children
Our apps are for general audiences and do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the effective date above and, if changes are significant, we will note them in the app or on this page.
